South Rock Ltd supports various community organizations, sports teams and special events throughout the Medicine Hat area.

South Rock Ltd. has once again partnered with SRE Construction to Sponsor the
2009 Alberta Ride For Sight



The South Rock Employees Charitable Foundation was started about 10 years ago. It is set up so that employees can donate to it directly from their pay. The Foundation has a board of directors made up of employees and they determine which charities the monies will be donated to. Any employee can suggest a particular charity be considered. If there is a specific cause the employees will do fund raising activities and there are some outside supporters that donate funds as well. The Foundation is a registered charitable corporation. So far in the Foundations short history it has donated more that $300,000 to various charities in Alberta and Canada. Our employees come from all over Canada so charities that are suggested by the employees can come from anywhere. The Foundation focuses on children and families and because we are a construction company--any "mortar and bricks" projects that will leave infrastructure lasting into the future to help children and those that need assistance. We are proud that the employees of South Rock Ltd join together to help others in this way.
